About David

David J. Muñoz is the Managing Partner of Mission Personal Injury Lawyers. He co-founded the firm in 2010 and has focused his career on taking personal injury cases to trial. Under his leadership, Mission reports more than $150 million recovered for injured clients, more than 120 cases tried to conclusion, and a 99% success rate. He earned a B.A. in Biology from St. Mary’s University, an M.S. in Biology from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and a J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law. He relocated to San Diego in 2009 and began his legal career at Fish & Richardson before co-founding Mission with his father. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and has served on the leadership board of its San Diego chapter. He has been admitted to California state courts since 2010 and is also licensed in Texas. His practice includes personal injury, car, truck, motorcycle and bicycle accidents, brain injuries, pedestrian accidents, wrongful death and catastrophic injuries. He has also spoken at legal conferences and continuing education events and served in leadership of the San Diego County Bar Association Civil Litigation Section.
