About Derick

Derick Runion is the founding partner of Runion Personal Injury Lawyers. He has more than 10 years of leadership experience and represents people injured in accidents throughout Arizona. Before becoming a lawyer, he worked in the life-insurance industry and learned how insurers use post-claims underwriting to deny benefits. That experience influenced his decision to advocate for injured people rather than corporations. His practice includes car, truck, motorcycle, bus, rideshare, pedestrian, premises-liability, dog-bite and wrongful-death matters. He earned his J.D. from ASU’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law and his B.S. from ASU, graduating summa cum laude.
