Karen Kohn

The Kohn Law Group focuses on injury and wrongful death cases involving automobiles, trucks, commercial vehicles, ridesharing collisions such as Uber and Lyft, Metrobus and Metrorail incidents, bicyclists, and motorcycles. They also specialize in premises liability including slip and fall, trip and fall and sexual assault, pharmacy error, dog attack and dog bite, food poisoning, and class action cases.

Ms. Kohn has tried cases to verdict in front of judges and juries in Washington, DC and Maryland. Before starting the law group, Ms. Kohn worked at Cohen & Cohen, PC where she helped injured clients at trial and negotiated thousands of cases. Ms. Kohn served as WMATA Assistant General Counsel where she defended clients in negligence and product liability cases. Ms. Kohn worked at the Educational Fund to Stop Gun Violence where she represented cities and victims disproportionately affected by gun violence.

She has also served as pro bono counsel at the House of Ruth in Baltimore, Maryland, as a Montgomery County District Court Mediator and been admitted to the Montgomery County Inn of Court for two terms. In her spare time, she loves to bake and spend time with her family.
