Ashton Dennis

Ashton Dennis is a partner at Washington Law Center and a dedicated advocate for individuals and families confronting serious injuries, abuse, and institutional wrongdoing. He has built his career on holding powerful institutions accountable and achieving meaningful results for survivors and families facing life-changing harm.

Ashton’s practice focuses on cases involving sexual abuse, wrongful death and catastrophic injury, including claims against schools, government agencies, and other large organizations. He is known for his steady, strategic approach and ability to navigate emotionally difficult cases with empathy and precision. His colleagues describe him as a “calm but unwavering presence”. He listens first, then fights fiercely for what’s right.

Raised and practicing in Washington State, Ashton earned dual degrees in Criminal Justice and Political Science from Washington State University, followed by his J.D. from Seattle University School of Law. Rooted in those same Northwest values, he considers it a privilege to represent individuals and families from his home state and to give back to the communities that shaped him.

Beyond his legal work, Ashton is deeply grounded in faith, family and community service. His clients often say that what sets him apart is his combination of tenacity in the face of powerful opponents and genuine care for the people behind the case. One client described his handling of their situation as being with extraordinary confidence, integrity and compassion. Out of the office he will be found on his farm with his wife and daughters. Ashton considers it a privilege to serve as a Deacon in his church and on the Board of Directors at his children’s school.
