About Brent

Brent R. Eames founded Eames Law Group in 2018 to provide representation to injured victims across Illinois. He is recognized for workers’ compensation and personal injury litigation and has obtained many millions in recoveries, including a first-year judgment of more than $1.2 million. A major focus of his practice is representing firefighters and police officers injured in the line of duty, including disability benefits under the Illinois Pension Code and PEDA and PSEBA benefits. He is a frequent lecturer for the Illinois State Bar Association on trial strategies, first-responder injuries and workers’ compensation law. He has held leadership positions within legal organizations and in 2026 was appointed Vice-Chair of the ISBA Tort Law Section and reappointed to the Workers’ Compensation Law Section Council. He is admitted in Illinois and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Central Districts of Illinois. He earned a J.D., cum laude, from Northern Illinois University College of Law in 2009 and a B.A. in Political Science from Western Illinois University in 2006.
