Erica Mitchell

Erica Mitchell is a Senior Workers Compensation Attorney at Acosta Injury Law with almost 20 years of experience representing injured workers, employers, and insurance companies. She has litigated matters before the Georgia State Board of Workers’ Compensation and presented oral arguments to the Board’s Appellate Division and Georgia Superior Courts. Her clients have included individuals and Fortune 500 companies in construction, temporary staffing, restaurant, transportation/trucking, retail, airline, and healthcare industries. Before joining Acosta, she was a partner at a midsize defense firm and Lead Counsel for the largest claimant workers’ compensation practice in Georgia. She is a certified civil mediator and licensed in Georgia and California. Erica graduated summa cum laude from Georgia State University with a B.A. in Journalism and Philosophy and attended Emory University School of Law on a full scholarship, where she was active in Moot Court and the Black Law Students Association.
