About Kathleen

Kathleen “Katie” Kerner became a Partner with Jenner Law in 2021 after serving as Senior Associate Attorney. She focuses on personal injury litigation, dangerous drugs, defective medical devices and sexual abuse claims. She has more than 10 years in the legal industry and recently won a $1.2 million bench verdict for a survivor of psychotherapy abuse. She earned a B.A. in Political Science, magna cum laude, from Salisbury University in 2009 and a J.D., magna cum laude, from University of Baltimore School of Law in 2013. She is Chair of the Sexual Abuse Section of the Maryland Association for Justice and a Leader’s Forum Member of the American Association for Justice. She has received repeated Super Lawyers Rising Star, National Trial Lawyers and Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch recognition.
