About Kurt

Kurt D. Lloyd is a personal injury trial lawyer with more than 35 years of experience. He has won more than $400 million for clients and referring attorneys throughout Illinois and has brought more than 75 cases to trial verdict. Since graduating from IIT/Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1985, he has focused on personal injury and medical malpractice. His timeline includes a first plaintiff jury trial in 1986, a first $1 million-plus medical malpractice verdict in a rural Illinois county in 1990, and numerous record-setting verdicts and settlements. He was invited to join the American Board of Trial Advocates after compiling 50 jury verdicts in 1998. He lectures for the Illinois State Bar Association and other organizations and wrote Jury Selection for Illinois trial lawyers. He has been recognized as an Illinois Super Lawyer and Leading Lawyer and received a Citation of Excellence from the American Association of Justice.
